American Express Offers Cardholders $1k Savings Promo Code for UAE Flight

Travelers can get an American Express discount for United Arab Emirates flights from now until Dec. 31, 2019. This deal appeared earlier in July and now it’s back offering $1000 off round-trip flights from the U.S. using the promo code USAMX19.

Specifically, the $1000 discount applies specifically to first class fares. You can also save $75 on round-trip economy fares and $500 on round-trip business class fares.  But this limited-time promotion applies to flights leaving to Emirates-served airports in the U.S. 

Here are the airports that apply for the discount:

·       Boston (BOS)

·       Chicago (ORD)

·       Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW)

·       Ft. Lauderdale (FLL)

·       Houston (IAH)

·       Los Angeles (LAX)

·       New York City (JFK and EWR)

·       Orlando (MCO)

·       San Francisco (SFO)

·       Seattle (SEA)

·       Washington (IAD)

Although, there are some exceptions for the American Express discount for United Arab Emirates. According to the Emirates website, Business Saver fares are not included as part of the promotion. However, there are other offers available which do include business saver fares. Using the promo code on economy flights proves a little difficult, so it’s best to book with points unless you can pay cash for business or first class flights.

Notably, the discount cannot be combined with other Emirates offers, and you must book before Dec. 31, 2019 and travel before April 30, 2020. 

How to Use the Promo Code

Using the code is very simple on Emirates website. All you have to do is look up your origin and choose a destination, then enter USAMX19 on the space provided. You should remember the April 31, 2020 travel limit when choosing dates on the calendar.
